VFW Post 5702 Car Show Sunday, September 14, 2008
The membership of VFW Post 5702 would like to thank all of our guests, car owners, judges, and trophy sponsors for helping us make this year’s show one of our most successful. Because we believe in supporting our military, our annual Car Show is dedicated as a fundraiser for two charities that support our nation’s military, Fisher House and The Wounded Warrior Project. Located at major military installations, Fisher House provides no-cost hotel facilities to the families of wounded veterans so they can be with their loved ones at the time of their greatest need, while The Wounded Warrior Project helps veterans with traumatic injuries readjust and reenter civilian life. Because of your participation and support, our Post will be sending a check to each charity. We thank you for your support and participation again, and we look forward to an even better Car Show next year.
